The Maxemail platform can work with other business applications and systems in order to synchronise data, automate manual tasks such as uploading lists, sending recurring emails or even receiving data from your web analytics tools in order to tailor the emails based upon where someone has been on your site that week.
This is achieved through an API based upon the industry-standard, cross-platform SOAP interface and can be utilised by those using open source or Microsoft development platforms.
The API is a simple set of commands that can replicate any features available within the Maxemail user interface. Examples of how existing users have integrated with their systems via the API are below.
- Synchronising data held in a CRM application such as Salesforce with Maxemail, removing the need for importing CSV files, while recording campaign tracking information such as those that have opened the email or unsubscribed back in the CRM system
- Automatically producing HTML & text email content from a content management system
- Linking existing newsletter subscription and profile forms so when they are completed it updates Maxemail in real-time with any changes
- Triggering an email based upon a specific event on the website such as an order
- Creating new filters or dynamic content rules from a spreadsheet
