As one one of the largest exhibitions of eCommerce professionals in Europe, eCommerce Expo is one our of favourite events to exhibit at. As always, our teams thoroughly enjoyed it and were very, very busy over the two day event!
The exhibition itself was quite momentous for us as it marked the official launch of Maxautomation, our new visual marketing automation system! Day one we had a mix of the Sales Team, Client Services and Product Manager Matt and day two Marketing joined forces to help man the stand (plus take it all down at the end!).

It was reassuring whilst discussing marketing automation with attendees to hear that automation is felt as the key to driving acquisition and retention within both small and large companies alike. The knowledge that no matter what a marketer is focusing on day-to-day their welcome, nurture, upsell and loyalty programmes are working hard for them in the background to increase brand engagement must be a heartening feeling.
The seemingly omnipresent topic of GDPR could have really suppressed conversations as organisations concerned about how to market to their customers shy away from email marketing. In fact, the opposite was true as marketers look to ensure they have resilient processes. The accurate recording of opt-ins and legal workflows ahead of May 25th 2018 was discussed at great length along with how the power of platforms such as Maxemail can assist with ensuring that opt-outs and personal preferences are updated accordingly within systems.” – Simon Liddle, Account Development Manager
